Accepted blocks
Are the FAST rules going to include any of the accepted blocks in the Supercar rules?

Re: Accepted blocks
Depends what block your talking about. At this stage in the game we will not allow guy`s to move up to non production blocks that allow a cubic inch advantage over production blocks. If we were to open the door here almost every racer in the class would have to replace their blocks to remain competive. The cubes are a big advantage and kind of takes the sport out of what were doing. Example: If Hodges went to a Hemi mega block, almost instantly Joel`s, Mine, Iggy`s, Andy`s, Tony`s (new guy) would become obsolete. I`m running 133.79mph with 496 cubes, a properly tuned and build mega blocker should easily hit 136mph in the heat, how do you beat that if everything else is equal. The same goes for the BB Mopars, BB Chevy`s, Ford`s, etc.
In general, rule changes cost money.

Re: Accepted blocks
I'm trying to get my head around the rules, (and buying parts within the next few weeks) and with building a new combination based on current rules only to have them change would be like you said more money and not being competitive. Thanks for the quick answer Dave.
