Engine Location


I read the rules for FAST and I doesn't say anything about engine location. Also does the heater box have to be in place?

From the rules:
"2.05 The entire engine compartment and engine assembly, including accessories, must appear correct, except for items specifically defined otherwise in these rules."

I'd have to think if you set the engine back it won't appear "correct".

 Just use the 6 cylinder "DEEP" shroud...seen that done before. It looks somewhat correct. Its gotta help with the front to rear car balance.

69 Camaros that went to Hawaii didn't all have heaters. Some of them came as heater delete, despite what the federal regulations said about heater/defroster in US cars. As far as engine location, how can you even squeeze your hand between the distributor and the firewall?
