Not really thrashing, as the car and combination have been static since Commerce 2004. I am trying to sort thru some issues with the Q-Jet. Lately its been one step forward, two steps back. But hopefully I can change that.

Steve. so everything is good with the Fairlane? No more
thrashing? How does the car feel, inquiring minds want to know. I guess you'll be out East for a while if you plan to do Carlisle, Hershey and VA. in one big loop.

It looks like I might not get a chance to hit the track with it before I leave.Weather has not been great or big regonal races at the local track messing up a last chance.I do have chasis dyno time booked for the tuesday morning after Carisle at Booze Brothers performance .They are only 40 miles from Carisle .I hope it all goes well.I got lots of oil pressure now it seems to run cool.The chasis dyno will show the proper shift points to make since track time looks shakey.We can get the jetting set and have some hp#s to look at.This is still the small 452 cube 14.5 comp engine that I have had for 20 years not the 490 I have being built.It seems to pull very hard past 6500 .I have shifted it at 7000 .I guess we will all see in a couple weeks.

My bad luck continues lost a head gasket on the chassis dyno.Well at least we made over 100 more HPs in tuning before.I will get the bigger engine back in a week or two.Maybee it will be ready for Etown.
