F/S VRS F.A.S.T.
For the May 31 race in St Louis, are those of us running F/S suppose to enter in the Muscle Car Eliminator Class? There is not a sub-class under F.A.S.T. is there? At Beaver Springs last summer I was the first guy through tech and they didn't quite know what to do with me. I told them I was with the F.A.S.T. group but running factory stock, not F.A.S.T. They then classed me F/FS for F.A.S.T./Factory Stock. What's up for St.Louis? Thanks

Re: F/S VRS F.A.S.T.
Go ahead and file under FAST. We will split up the classes at the track. The organizers are gracious enough to give us a spot in the show and are pretty much hands off for the rest of it.
As for Musclecar eliminator.. looks like an opportunity to bring home some cabbage!!!

Re: F/S VRS F.A.S.T.
Thanks for that Rusty. I didn't really want to mix it up with those Muscle Car Eliminator guys. Much better being with you guys. I'll try to pass the word along to my buddies that are planning on going. If we have 8 F/S are we running the ladder instead of best of 3 shootouts?

We will have enough F/S racers to have a quick 8 in F/S. Outside of the 8, we will have 2 of 3 shootouts.
Where are you from? The organizers are loving the variety of cars and the locations we are all coming from. Right now, I know of racers from Missouri, Kansas Nebraska, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Georgia, Indiana, Mississippi, and possibly Benoit out of Louisiana. I am going to try to get a couple of squirrles out of Kentucky to show up. I am hoping this will be a great time for all!!!

Re: F/S VRS F.A.S.T.
Hi Rusty, I'm from near Champaign, IL and there's a friend from close by who will be there as well. We're both long time Pure Stock guys. If you've been to PSMCDR in Stanton,MI you know how wide an area we pull from for that. Many of us want to race more often and FAST F/S is perfect for that. The event looks to be fantastic. Hope this is the first of an annual event for us.
I'll be there with my silver '64 Impala SS or a '66 Chevy II, series 100, so stop on by and introduce yourself.

For everyone, if you are preregistered, you can drop your trailer at Gateway and leave it there on Friday night. The FAST- F/S group is going to be grouped together. I am getting excited about this event!!!!
