Factory Stock Maxie
Here`s a factory Stock Maxie.. This was one of the first pulls, you`ll notice a tad bit of smoke from the exhaust manifold, this is not a oil leak, just the manifold itself after the first couple of pulls there was no more smoke...

Re: Factory Stock Maxie
First, i'll say this engine will be going in a 4-speed car and it seems to be 250lbs heavier than the new legal weight. She made 544hp with no air cleaners or pulleys (didn't have either). The 64 Mopars will beat the Corvette's from time to time with a maxed out combo, an automatic trans and the weight brought down to NHRA spec's. Just give the Chrysler guy's time to work out the kinks...
If the rules are ever enforced beyond a simple tech, they will really shine. IMO

That's awesome Dave! I'm cheering for the Maxies this year at the Pure Stock Drags! Bring down the weight...do I dare ask how that's going to happen??? JK, let's keep that classified
Seriously though, I'd love to see a Maxie show those Corvettes who thier Daddy is!
