Carb question...

My 72' LS5 4 speed calls for a Qjet with a part# of 7042215. I am not having much luck finding one. I however trip over carbs with the # 7042220 - LS3 & LS5 automatic carb. Can I run the automatic carb since other than the part # it is correct for my car?

Thanks in advance! emoticon

Re: Carb question...

I would double check with Bob and Dan these days, but in the past as long as it's the same CFM , same carb it's ok. Buttttt -like I said double check.

Thanks, how would I get in touch with either one of them? I picked up an auto LS3/LS5 carb off of eBay over the weekend, hope I am able to use it - the price was right! emoticon
