Re: 66 427 Ford Fairlane Hardtop
Hi Mike, I also need 14 by 6 disc brake wheels, at least four real nice ones, as this car, has only five inch drum brake wheels, I am sure there is other stuff too, LOL, Rich

Re: 66 427 Ford Fairlane Hardtop
Hi everyone, update on my wheels, I bought them from a guy in Westland, Chris Jones, is going to pick them up, dismount them, and ship the wheels to me, a lot of effort on his part, I am friends with a big Ford parts guy,s who sell Ford stuff, they was only able to find one, after looking two days, most were scrapped, and there is none at any of my local salvage yards, good thing for Ebay !!!!!

Re: 66 427 Ford Fairlane Hardtop
Update on the wheels, Chris got them packed up, and dropped off to a Fedex shipper, and I got them two days later, all four perfect, and its another thing not to worry about, also, when i can download the pics, I,ll post pics of the MR cyl heads, 8V intake, and 427 exhaust manifolds, before the modifications to them, most people, haven ever seen MR427 cyl heads up close, as these have not had any mods ever done to them

Re: 66 427 Ford Fairlane Hardtop
Sounds like this is going to be an awesome FAST car! I have always thought that the 427 Fairlane was a great combination, and they are a good looking car, too. If I remember right, these cars were only available with a 4 speed. You are planning to run the 4 gear trans, right?
Good luck, Joel
