I'm trying to help a friend of mine with his 68 Mustang Coupe. He is having a problem with traction and after finding out about this site, I figured I might be able to find the info needed to help him.

His car is set up with Lakewood 90/10's up front stock springs front and rear and Lakewood 50/50's in the rear as well as a set of traction bars. The front sway bar has been removed, he is running a set of 275 60 15 Mickey Thompson drag radials in the rear.

Any ideas?

Get the Calvert racing front shocks they are much better and the Rancho 9000 rear shocks they are 9 way adjustable. Tire pressure can really make a positive change also 14-16 lbs would be a good start,Moroso front coil spring along with roller bearing spring pearches would also help.Calvert rear spring and bars would also realy help.It sounds like a lot of the things he has done is kind of the old school way .Suspension has greatly improved over the last 5 years.

I past the info on to him and he was on the phone for awhile with Calvert Racing today, since he doesn't fully understand how the Cal-Tracks work.
