What are these carbs?


What did these come on? They are Carter AFB's and they are large. As you can see in the picture, the mounting holes are much further apart than the studs on a Hemi manifold. The numbers have been ground off.

looks like a 60's vintage universal aftermarket application Carter AFB. No choke towers tend to indicate they were never an OEM application. Wide stud pattern is a holley bolt pattern. Hope that is some help.

I don't know what it is, but it has the fuel inlet on the opposite side as a mopar AFB. emoticon

I still think they are aftermarket application AFB's. The kind you would just go into a speed shop and buy.

I think these were called Daytona AFBs. I bought two with no choke provisions for my Chevy and used a special Offenhouser manifold. I was told they were 650cfm. All I remember is that if I launched below 4000 rpm the car bogged bad.
