Hey Lane!


Picked up a late 70's F250 4x4 that has what is supposed to be a 71 429 in it. How do I identify a Ford block? Water pump number are what made the guy think it was a 71 429.

Lane,
Finally took time to check the engine out. Its' block is cast D1VE A2A and the heads are D3VE A2A.

Just a plain 429. most likely two bolt block, low performance heads.
