Joel, hi i havent met you yet nor seen your car in person. I always figured it was clean but man, it looks really clean! Love the pics taken during the resto. love those brake/clutch pedals, love the lightning holes!!
How many hole saws did you go through??

Re: F.A.S.T. Hemi GTX build pictures
Steve,
I like the Dana 60, it is a tuff unit! I know an aluminum case 8-3/4 would be lighter, but I'm not sure if it would make any difference on the ET. I have read that a Dana transfers power more efficiently due the the pinion gear being higher up.
Ryan, I didn't wreck any hole saws. After weighing the metal plugs that dropped out from sawing, the weight was so minimal that I quit wasting time on it when there was still plenty of opportunities to drill.

Steve
That's what Scotty said to me the other night. But after weighing plugs and all the crap that came of my drill press it was 5lbs??

Do that or something like it 20 times and you drop 100.It all adds up and should help ETs.

Re: F.A.S.T. Hemi GTX build pictures
Great pics Joel, thanks for sharing. Pretty impressive to get a 4 speed to hook like that. I remember reading about your car in Muscle Car Review a few months back...I think it was muscle car review.
take it easy and good luck this season.
