FAST 340 intake modifications

My name is Rick, I would love to run your series but I live in Arizona. Love the looks of the factory appearing cars. My car is a 72 Demon with bluptinted 71 340 motor
that I bracket race with TTI headers and full exhaust. Like I say I love the stock look and want to modify the
stock intake underneath my thermoquad. Hopfully this is
not intruding too much but I would appreciate it if someone can post pictures of pluenum area modifications. Some time down the road I would also
like to put on the stock exhaust mainfolds...one step
at a time though. I appreciate any help and THANKS in advance!

Has anyone dynoed that modification? I know we all do it but do we know it is better? Or is it just because so and so is doing it, so its gotta make more power right?

At the very least it looks to smooth things out pretty well. Do people just do this? I was thinking having it extrude honed, then having it ported to final size?

Who does it and how much?

Re: FAST 340 intake modifications

Sorry no dyno results but my car picked up from 11.73 to 11.68. On the second 11.68 launch felt lazy so I adjusted the air door half turn more and it went 11.61. Again this is a totally different combo than you guys run , but apparently it works. It was not extrude honed .
Thanks for the pics Dave!!
