Ralph,
Thanks for the compliement. I really enjoy going to your website and looking at all your cars as well! especially like the 71 roadrunner 440 six pack 4 speed! You ever run that car yet?
Not Yet. That will happen in the near future for sure. Has a three fingure clutch in it that has a hard time not slipping on the street. The problem is the race cars have taken priority over the street cars. But I am gettiong excited about building a couple of Pure Stockers I am going to build a Hemi for the 1967 GTX to run in Pure Stock and the 1971 Road Runner will get a new clutch soon.
Many years ago I actually wanted to run NHRA Stock Elim with the car but since the 383 was factored so heavy (310 HP). And the specs when you look at them including the stocker cheater cam you realize that there would be alot left on the table. Thus my ideas of going stocker racing quickly ended. So factory stock is about the closest I can come to an NHRA stocker plust I get alot personal satisfaction running with an engine that is considered an afterthought. Going fast with the least
I saw some pics you posted on Moparts or YR1 of the Bee in Race Car Trim
